The Pilot
2015 STOL Drag World Champion. Thousands of free rides given to kids and first-time flyers. Bush flying the backcountry in a Carbon Cub named Ghost.
The Builder
26+ years building enterprise aviation software through SkyVantage Corporation. Powering scheduled airlines, charter operations, and flight departments since 2000.
The Loss
Lost his sister Michelle to suicide on Christmas Eve 2020. Crashed Ghost in the Muskingum River. Went quiet for three years.
The Comeback
Built Xega from the ground up. 40+ AI tools. 11 AI assistants. Self-hosted AI infrastructure. Free on the App Store since December 2025. Growing the tribe.

Pilots — we need beta testers. Any pilot can join. We need people who will really fly with it — file suggestions, submit reports, put real effort into shaping the product. iOS testing is live in TestFlight and the flight planning UX is in beta right now. Active beta testers get the app free for life.
Engineers who fly. Separately, I'm networking with iOS, Android, Web, Data, and AI engineers who are also pilots, astronauts, or bring real aerospace domain knowledge. I refuse to hand Xega's future to devs who don't know the space.
Early adopters. Paid subscribers who reach one continuous year before December 31, 2027 earn a permanent Founder badge. During 2026–27, first-year users get an early adopter badge with some exciting aerospace industry perks in the works. Stay tuned.
Conversational flight planning is fully live in the iOS app. The flight planning UX — a planning powerhouse on desktop, tablet, and mobile — is in beta now. Full EFB with in-flight connectivity hits iOS in March 2026. Agentic endpoints are coming so AI agents can leverage the planner directly. I am open to all kinds of “let's build together” conversations.
